Incorporating 16-bit technology with real-time operations, the AC-900 Main Controller can be networked to other 16-bit and/or 8-bit main or terminal controllers. The AC-900 Main Controller manages communications between the command center and the terminal controllers and serves as the remote communications device for Pinnacle and ThresholdEnterprise software. As a cost-effective and reliable solution, the AC-900 provides the intelligence necessary for communications and access control for the first two readers.
Key features of the AC-900 Controller include:
- Supports up to 4,000 cardholders
- Supports up to two doors
- A single board controls all regional input/output linking
- Hardwired, interfaced with fiber optics, or addressed via dial-up phone lines
- Contains an event and network buffer
- Self-contained battery allows 48 hours of data integrity
- Interfaces with a wide range of card reader technology, including all standard Proximity, Wiegand, and Magstripe readers
